I don't know why ✪ is going all the way back to 2002 for ingredients for chowder when he's got a claim from two weeks ago that's perfect for chowdering. OK, maybe the problem is how it was phrased. The claimant employed an advanced writing technique -- called sarcasm -- where he writes the opposite of what he means. Thus, when the claimant asked hypothetically, "When Apple announces its quarterly results next week, they’ll say that iPhone 4 sales dropped precipitously over the last three months. Right?" he wasn't sincerely wondering if it was so, but ridiculing the very idea of iPhone sales dropping in anticipation of the 4S model.
And what did Apple announce? Unit sales dropping 16% because of anticipation for the rumored iPhone 4S/5. Well, maybe sarcastic claim chowder is a harder dish to prepare. Maybe he needs to call Gordon Ramsay for assiatance.
